Community Members

Community organizations and individuals play a significant role in organizing, participating in and supporting justice education activities throughout the province. Whether it is volunteering at a mock trial competition, sitting on an OJEN committee or attending a law symposium on a current legal issue, the participation of community members in justice education is essential to advancing OJEN’s goal of achieving a civil society through education and dialogue.

Many social justice or youth focused organizations assist in OJEN events and provide interesting contributions to the dialogue about the justice system. Representatives of the media, forensic investigators, university and college professors, to name a few, each participate in different aspects of OJEN programs and help to link the substantive law with the realities of Canadian’s lives.

If you are interested in volunteering with an OJEN activity in your area, please contact us.
