Francophone Youth

OJEN is committed to providing quality justice education resources and programming to Francophone youth across the province. All OJEN-developed print resources are available in French. OJEN strives to respond to teachers looking for resources in French.

In 2007, for the second consecutive year, OJEN offered a bilingual Summer Law Institute in Ottawa and provided Francophone teachers with relevant up-dated justice education tools that can be used in the classroom. A bilingual Active Citizenship workshop aimed at grade 10 Civics students was held as well as several bilingual Law Day initiatives such as the Charter Challenge, the Grade 5 poster contest and the Great Debate.
